I'm a passionate henna artist based in the Greater Seattle area, blending traditional Indian designs with modern elegance.
What began as a simple childhood joy of applying henna for family and friends has grown into a heartfelt career that celebrates culture, creativity, and connection. Inspired by my father’s entrepreneurial spirit and supported by my family and friends, I’ve built Henna by Rama into a space where art and tradition come together to create something truly meaningful.

My journey with henna began in my childhood home in Telangana, India. I started using a simple toothpick to apply henna for family and friends during weddings and festivals, fascinated by how something so simple could bring so much happiness.
I moved to the United States with my husband and focused on raising our two children. Years later, as they grew older, I felt a strong pull to rediscover my creative side and pursue something of my own.
Thanks to the encouragement of a dear friend, who recognized potential in my work, I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my lifelong passion into a profession—thus, Henna by Rama was born.
Over time, I’ve had the joy of sharing my art at community events, cultural celebrations, and private gatherings—each experience reminding me how deeply art can connect people and brighten their moments.
